Adrian Jones has over 15 years of experience in project finance (including PFI/PPP/P3) and corporate infrastructure and utility lending in both mature and emerging markets. Mr. Jones is a managing director at MBIA UK where he is responsible for the company’s utility business as well as for leading a number of high profile PFI transactions. Mr. Jones has practical knowledge of bond issues, bank lending and credit insurance, gained through assignments spanning new business execution and remediation/restructuring, including detailed “hands-on” experience of all key aspects of deal execution: negotiation, documentation, financial modeling and management of third party technical, insurance and legal advisors. Notable assignments include the financing of Allenby Connaught £1.8 billion PPP, the implementation of a secondary market utilities business for MBIA, and advisory work for Governments on Skynet 5 PPP (£1.1 billion).
Prior to joining MBIA in 2004, Mr. Jones worked at Schroders/Citigroup, ANZ Banking Group and Deloitte.
Mr. Jones holds a BA in Chemistry from St Edmund Hall, Oxford University.
